Cancer
Hackley Hospital has comprehensive initiatives in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cancer. Women’s cancers, prostate cancer, malignancies of the brain and cancer of the gastrointestinal system are just a few examples of the programs at the Hackley Hospital Cancer Treatment Center.
In addition to its scientific programs, Hackley Hospital Cancer Treatment Center often hosts innovative presentations involving art, massage therapy and support groups to help educate professionals, patients and the public about the psychosocial dimensions of coping with cancer.
Stroke
Hackley Hospital has comprehensive initiatives in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of strokes. The Stroke Care Center Fund was created to support the innovative diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of stroke patients, along with assertive stroke prevention and education.
Surgical Services
The Surgical Services Funds was created to purchase new specialized equipment and instruments, to fund staff education and to develop and enhance services that directly benefit the patients cared for at Hackley Hospital.
Physical Medicine
The Physical Medicine Fund was created to purchase new specialized equipment and instruments, to fund staff education and to develop and enhance services that directly benefit the patients cared for at the outpatient rehab, physical therapy, sports medicine, or inpatient rehabilitation unit.
Cardio-Pulmonary
The Cardio-Pulmonary Fund was created to purchase new specialized diagnostic and therapeutic equipment utilized by our Respiratory Therapy and Physiology in Neuro-Cardio Pulmonary Services.
Spiritual Care
Spiritual Care at Hackley is committed to the philosophy that the mind, body and spirit work together. The spiritual Care Fund has been established to provide support for programs, materials and services for patients and families as they work towards wholeness, health and healing.
Critical Care
The Critical Care Fund was created for staff education, to purchase new treatment equipment and instruments, to develop and enhance services or enhance existing services that directly benefit patients and families cared for in the Critical Care Unit.
Emergency Medicine
The difference between life and death is quite often a matter of minutes. The Emergency Medicine Fund supports physician and staff education as well as the purchase of advanced life saving equipment. It enables Hackley Hospital to remain “First When Seconds Count.”
Family Birth Place
The Family Birth Place Fund was created to purchase new specialized equipment and instruments, to fund staff education and to develop and enhance services that directly benefit the patients cared for at Hackley Hospital.
Women’s Health Services
The Women’s Health Services Fund purchases medical equipment, aids in the development of new and innovative hospital programs, and supports or enhances existing patient/family services that address women’s health-related issues throughout the hospital and our community.
McClees Clinic
The McClees clinic at Hackley Hospital Fund was created to assist HIV/AIDS patients who are clients of the McClees Clinic with emergency financial assistance when all available public assistance has been exhausted.
