You can make a gift to support the patients and services we care for each day, or specialty programs such as cancer, stroke, trauma, or any of the other services and programs of Hackley Hospital and Hackley Health. Memorials and Tribute Gift
Gifts in memory of a family member or friend, in honor of an individual or in recognition of a special occasion express what words alone cannot and provide important support for Hackley Hospital and the Hackley Cornerstone Foundation. You can use any of the gift options listed below. Please be sure to note the name of the person you would like to honor. If you would like us to notify a family member please include the family’s name and address.

Will and Bequests
By remembering Hackley Hospital and the Hackley Cornerstone Foundation with a bequest in your will, you can have an impact on medical care that goes beyond your lifetime. Your bequest may qualify for an estate tax charitable deduction. When you make a bequest, we urge you to consult with your attorney and other advisors, as well as members of Hackley Cornerstone Foundation.Here is an example of standard language that you may consider:
I give, devise and bequeath to Hackley Hospital and the Hackley Cornerstone Foundation, a Michigan charitable corporation located in Muskegon Michigan, the sum of $XXX (or: XX percent of the residue of my estate) to be used for __ (or: to be used as its Board of Trustees shall deem advisable to best promote the institution’s objectives).

Charitable Annuities and Trusts
These planned gifts can provide a wide range of benefits to you, your loved ones and Hackley Hospital through the Hackley Cornerstone FoundationFor example, charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts provide income for life for the donor and/or another beneficiary. They also provide income and estate tax deductions. Your remainder gift can be designated for use by Hackley Hospital or other Hackley Health programs.
