DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGY OPPORTUNITY

Diagnostic Radiologist needed to join an 8-physician private practice group, Radiology Muskegon, PLC. Requirements for this position are board certification or eligibility and Michigan State license; minimal vascular/interventional skills will be useful for on-call coverage. Preference will be given to applicants with cross-sectional imaging/MRI or nuclear medicine fellowship or experience. This position offers an excellent salary and benefits package and generous vacation time with a fast track to partnership.

This well-established group practices out of two hospitals: Hackley Hospital (181 beds, Muskegon, Michigan) and Hackley Lakeshore Hospital (50 beds, Shelby, Michigan) and performs 150,000 exams per year. The available technology includes two Multidetector CT, MRI, US (vascular and non-vascular), NM with four SPECT cameras, mammography and PACS. A certified Regional Cancer Center at Hackley Hospital offers medical and radiation oncology. Active neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery services are significantly increasing the demand for MRI. PET/CT started in the fall of 2005. Nighthawk services began in January 2006. Call is shared equally among group members via a teleradiology system. Most group members have subspecialty training but share work in almost all areas.
