Edo Mestrom, P.T., O.C.S.
Edo is a native of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and graduated from Spinoza Lyceum High School. He earned a degree in Physical Therapy from the Academie Voor Fysiotherapie in Amsterdam in 1986. Edo moved to the United States in 1987 and worked at Hackley Hospital from 1987 to 1989. He spent the next 14 years at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids before moving into private practice for 2 years. He returned to Hackley Hospital and joined the Rehab & Sports Medicine team in December 2005.
Edo is licensed by the State of Michigan and is a Senior Physical Therapist. He is also an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, which is a specialist certificate issued by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
Edo resides in Grand Haven with his wife, Kristine Mestrom, PT and their two children Drew and Katja. He enjoys participating in tennis, soccer, boating, and both water and snow skiing. With his interests, specialization and vast experience in sports, health, and fitness, Edo is a great asset to the Hackley Rehab & Sports Medicine team.
