Dr. Martin Pallante, M.D.
Dr. Martin Pallante is a Board Certified orthopedic Surgeon who has been practicing in Muskegon since 1993. He received a Bachelor¡s degree from the University of Notre Dame and continued on to medical school at Ohio State University. He completed an Internship and Residency at the University of Michigan. Following his residency, he went to the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI to complete a Fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. Throughout his medical education, he has worked with athletes of all levels and provided medical coverage for a wide variety of sports at the high school, collegiate, and professional level.
Dr. Pallante is in practice with Drs. A. Scott Lachniet, Herman Hoeksema and Stephen Fisher. He has served as Head Team Physician for the Muskegon Fury since 1993, team physician for Whitehall High School and Muskegon Community College, as well as a consultant to numerous area high schools.
Dr. Pallante is actively involved in the Michigan Orthopedic Society, where he has held various offices, including President. He served Hackley Hospital as Chief of Staff from 2000-2002, Vice Chief of Staff from 1998-2000, and Chief of Surgery from 1998-2000. He has been very active in the Muskegon community, including serving as chair of the Mike Irish Golf Classic for the Hackley Cancer Center.
Dr. Pallante and his wife, Dr. Elizabeth Pallante, a pediatrician at West Shore Pediatrics in Muskegon have three children, Elizabeth, Kathleen, and Stephen.
The athletes of Muskegon are fortunate to have the expertise of Dr. Pallante. His medical knowledge and love of sports make him an asset to our community.
