Support Groups
Support, fellowship, and conversation are very important on the healing cancer journey. The Cancer Center at Hackley Hospital offers a variety of free support groups for patients and their families. Breast Friends
An opportunity for women with breast cancer to share their experiences and
learn more about diagnosis and treatment. Meets the first Wednesday of every
month.
Learning to Relax
If you are having trouble sleeping, concentrating or have general anxiety,
this session may be very helpful to you. Schedule varies.
Living With Cancer
For patients, family members and friends. An opportunity to meet and talk
with others who are experiencing a diagnosis of cancer. Meets most weeks on
Tuesday.
Look Good, Feel Better
A two-hour makeover session with a licensed cosmetologist for women who are
experiencing skin changes and/or hair loss due to radiation therapy or
chemotherapy. Meets monthly.
Prostate Cancer Support Group
An opportunity to share experiences and learn more about diagnosis and
treatment. Meets the last Wednesday of every month.
