Meet Our Team
Howard Cooper, D.O., graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a rotating Internship at Mount Clemens General Hospital in Mount Clemens, MI, Residency in Internal Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI, and a Fellowship in Hematology & Oncology at University of Kentucky Medical Center. Dr. Cooper is board-certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine.
Wendy French, D.O., graduated from University of Osteopathic Health Science and Medicine in Iowa. She completed a rotating Internship at San Bernardino County Hospital in San Bernardino, California. Dr French graduated from University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY after completing an Internal Medicine Residency. She completed her Fellowship training in Hematology & Oncology at Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. Dr. French is board-certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine.
Mani Kurien, M.D., graduated from Medical College in Trivandrum, India. He had a rotating Internship at Medical College Hospital, Kerala India and Pontiac General Hospital, Pontiac, MI. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Hematology & Oncology at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI. Dr. Kurien is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Gerontology.
Edward Naill, M.D., graduated from Medical College of Wisconsin at Marquette University. His Radiation Oncology specialty training was completed at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Naill was a member of the Radiation Oncology Faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical School in Nashville, Tennessee before coming to the Hackley Cancer Center. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Katrina Olson, M.D., is the Medical Director of the Cancer Center. She graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Olson is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She has an internal medicine practice at Bear Creek Health Center in North Muskegon.
Jack Z. Wang, M.D., is the Medical Director of the Radiation Oncology Department. He graduated from Medical School, Fudan University, Shanghai China (formerly Shanghai Medical University). Dr. Wang finished a post-doctoral Radiobiology Research Fellowship at University of California, San Francisco. He completed Radiation Oncology Residency at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI. Dr. Wang is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Jan Cooper, APRN, AOCN, graduated from Michigan State University with a Master of Science in Nursing. She is credentialed as an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner.
Charla Higbee, BSN, is the Director of Cancer Services at Hackley Hospital. A graduate of Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Charla is currently completing a Masters Degree in Executive Leadership. She has worked in specialized Oncology Nursing since 1979, and is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society.
