Introduction
Hackley Hospital sees more emergency patients than anyone along the lakeshore. Annual patient visits now stand at 65,000 and are still growing. Today, Hackley Emergency accounts for the majority of all local emergency-department visits, including high-level trauma care. And with good reason.
For starters, 99% of all Hackley Hospital Emergency patients are seen by a doctor in 30 minutes or less, and most are seen in less than 15 minutes. Yes, you read that correctly: 99%.
There's more. All of Hackley Hospital's Emergency doctors are residency-trained and board-certified in Emergency Medicine. And all of Hackley's Emergency nurses are Specialized Trauma Nurses.
