Patient Food Service

"At Your Request" Room Service:
Meal trays are ordered via our room service line at extension 5500. Patient menus are located in all patient rooms. Please call our room service operators approximately 45 minutes prior to the desired mealtime.

Modified Diet:
Your physician determines your diet. He or she may limit the menu choices you can make. If you have followed a modified diet at home or have food allergies or intolerances, please let your physician know.

Your Dietitian:
Hackley Hospital has a registered dietitian (R.D.) available throughout the day to answer any questions about nutrition and health. If you have any questions, please call 5500.

Meal Times:
Meals are served "At Your Request" by calling the room service operator and placing your food order. A food hostess will bring your tray, and a nurse will assist you if needed. Meals can be ordered from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at extension 5500. It takes approximately 45 minutes to receive your tray.

Snacks:
If you wish to have a snack between meals or after meal hours, each nursing unit contains a food pantry for your convenience.

Cafeteria and Vending:
Hackley Hospital has several dining options for you and your visitors. Choices include the Gourmet Bean Coffee Shop, Lobbyside Diner, the Hospital Cafeteria, Guest Trays, and a vending area Breakaway Cafe.
