For everyone's protection, Hackley Hospital regularly conducts fire and/or disaster drills. If a drill occurs during your visit, please remain in your room and do not become alarmed. The door to your room will be closed during a drill as part of our procedure. Fire protection systems are in place throughout the hospital and staff members are trained in fire protection procedures.
Personal Property and Valuables:
You may bring your own personal hygiene items, pajamas, bathrobe and slippers. Excess clothing and unnecessary items should be sent home with a family member.
We advise that you leave all credit cards, valuables, jewelry, and money over $5 at home. If you chose to keep your valuables with you, please leave them in a safe deposit with the Security Office. The office phone number is 728-4710.
If you choose to keep your valuables or large sums of money with you in the hospital, it will be at your own risk.
ID Badges
All medical, administrative and volunteer hospital staff must wear a Hackley Hospital identification badge at all times, which includes the hospital logo, staff member's name, and photograph. Information on the badge will also include the staff member's title or department. If a particular staff member is unfamiliar to you, please ask who they are.
